Medicinal ingredient: beta-galactosidase (lactase enzyme), 4500 food chemical codex lactase units per tablet. Nonmedicinal ingredients (alphabetical): magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose.
Do not use if carton is open or printed neck seal or inner mouth seal is broken.
CAUTION: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes or galactosemia. Headaches, heartburn, bloating and hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
Directions for use: swallow or chew tablets just before eating any food containing lactose. The amount of Extra Strength Lactaid® Lactase Enzyme you need depends on the amount of lactose in the food you eat. Start with two (2) tablets and adjust up or down to find your own personal need. A maximum of four (4) tablets at any one time should prevent the symptoms caused by lactose intolerance. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and talk to a doctor. Note: an absorbent sachet has been added to the bottle to absorb moisture. Do not remove.
Store at or below 25°C (77°F). Keep away from heat and humidity.
