How to best care for minor wounds:
Clean: cleanse injured area gently with mild soap & water. Pat dry.
Treat & cover: treat with an antibiotic ointment, like Polysporin®, and cover the injured area with a gauze pad to help absorb fluids.
Secure: secure gauze pad with rolled gauze, tape or wrap.
