Soflax Gelcaps 100 mg

Medicinal Ingredients: 100 mg Docusate Sodium.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Red No. 40, Gelatin, Glycerin, Hypromellose, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Methylparaben, Sodium Propylparaben, Sorbitol, Titanium Dioxide.

Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting are present this refers to signs of appendicitis or inflamed bowel). Do not administer concomitantly with mineral oil, or other laxatives, as increased absorption may result. Laxatives should not be taken within 2 hours of doner medicine since the desired effect of the latter may be reduced. Overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel functions. Do not take any type of laxative for more than 1 week unless advised by a physician.

Take with one full glass of water or other liquids.
Adults and Children over 12 years: 1 or 2 capsules per day.

Children (6 to 12 years): 1 capsule per day. The effect on the stools can be observed within the 1st to the 3rd day after the first oral dose.
