Benylin Extra Strength Sore Throat & Cough Syrup 100 mL, is formulated to provide fast relief of your sore throat pain and wet cough. MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS (each 5 mL or 1 teaspoonful (tsp.) contains):Guaifenesin (extra strength) 200 mg, Menthol 15 mg
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Alcohol, citric acid, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C red no. 40, flavours, glycerin, †monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, †sodium saccharin, water, xanthan gum.
Sucrose free (sweetened with †). Caloric Content: 20.1 Kcal/10 mL
Do not use with other products containing any of these medicinal ingredients or other cough/cold medications or if allergic to any of the ingredients. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking other medications, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema, have difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. Stop use and ask a doctor if you develop allergic wheezing, rash or itching, sore throat pain lasts for more than 2 days, new symptoms appear, your symptoms worsen, or last for more than 7 days, are accompanied by a high fever (>38°C), persistent headache, or the production of thick, yellow/green phlegm. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In Case of Overdose: Call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
