Active ingredient (w/w) miconazole nitrate 2% (purpose: vaginal antifungal). Inactive ingredients benzoic acid, cetyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, polysorbate 60, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, stearyl alcohol, water
WARNINGS
FOR EXTERNAL VAGINAL USE ONLY
STOP USE AND ASK A DOCTOR IF - there is no improvement in 3 days or if symptoms have not disappeared within 7 days
- you have abdominal, lower back or shoulder pain, fever, nausea or foul-smelling vaginal discharge during use of this medication
- rash, hives, abdominal cramps, swelling or new irritation occurs
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
ASK A DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE USE IF YOU
- are at increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases
- have multiple partners or change partners often
- have never had a yeast infection before
- have yeast infections often
- have any of the following symptoms which may be signs of a serious condition: - abdominal or back or shoulder pain - fever or chills - nausea or vomiting - foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
- take the blood thinning drug warfarin
- are - pregnant or breastfeeding - trying to get pregnant
OTHER INFORMATION - do not use if carton is open or damaged
- store at room temperature (15-30°C / 59-86°F)
Directions use only in conjunction with Monistat® vaginal Ovule™ and vaginal suppositories. Adults and children 12 years and older:
- apply a thin layer of cream externally to the itchy or irritated area, twice daily, morning and evening, as needed, up to 7 days as long as external symptoms persist
- massage gently until the cream disappears
- do not use more than directed
