Salinex is a sodium chloride solution that provides soothing, effective relief from a dry, irritated nose. The solution moistens mucous membranes to relieve nasal dryness symptoms caused by a dry environment and/or overheated air that causes irritation, crusts and tingling. Salinex is non-habit forming.
Ingredients: 9 mg/mL sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, glycerin, purified water.
Consult doctor before use if you have asthma or other chronic respiratory complaints. Do not share. Do not swallow. Consult doctor if: symptoms persist or worsen; no improvement after clearing nose; discharge is thick and yellow or green; or skin at the base of the nose becomes raw or crusted.
Store between 15 and 30°C.
Adults and children over 2 years: 1-2 sprays once to three times daily. Blow nose. Bend head forward and tilt to right. Place tip of nozzle in left nostril. Do not insert more than ¼ inch. Press down and follow same procedure in right nostril. after spraying salinex, breathe deeply through the nose several times to be sure the medicaion reaches into the nose. Rinse nozzle with hot water before and after use, wipe with tissue.
Will the product remain sterile after opening?
Yes. All Salinex® Daily Care nasal seawater products use the Bag-on-valve technology by which seawater is filled in a bag contained within the can. The one-way valve prevents foreign contaminants such as mucus and foreign bodies from entering the container. This device allows repeated uses, until the expiration date of the product. Do not use the same bottle for more than one person to avoid cross-contamination.
