For fast and effective relief of heartburn associated with excess stomach acid. Rolaids starts to neutralize stomach acid in less than 10 seconds. Rolaids is an excellent source of calcium and magnesium. Calcium intake, when combined with sufficient vitamin D, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis.
Medicinal ingredients (in each chewable tablet): calcium carbonate USP 675 mg (equivalent to 270 mg of calcium), magnesium hydroxide USP 135 mg (equivalent to 57 mg of magnesium), Non-medicial ingredients : sucrose, dextrose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, flavors, color agents (309-060)
- WARNING: Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine as the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Do not use for more than two (2) weeks or if symptoms reoccur, unless directed by a doctor. Individuals with kidney disease should not take this product except on the advice of a doctor. Ask your doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children. - KNOWN ADVERSE REACTION: Some people may experience diarrhea.
- Directions: Antacid: Adults: chew 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Maximum: 11 tablets/ day. Pregnant women: chew 1-2 tablets as symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Maximum: 5 tablets/day.
- Calcium & magnesium supplement: Adults and pregnant women: chew 1-2 tablets after meal or as directed by a doctor. Maximum: 5 tablets/day.
