Benylin Cough & Chest Congestion for People with Diabetes

EACH 5 ML OR 1 TEASPOONFUL (Tsp.) CONTAINS:

Cough Suppressant: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
Controls dry cough. 15 mg

Decongestant, Anesthetic/Analgesic: Menthol
Relieves stuffy nose and nasal congestion. Relieves sore throat pain. 15 mg

Expectorant: Guaifenesin
Loosens and thins mucus and phlegm in the chest. Relieves chest congestion. 200 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients (Alphabetical):
Alcohol, citric acid, FD & C Blue No. 1, FD & C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, polyethylene glycol, polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, †sodium saccharin, water, xanthan gum.

Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, glaucoma or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of prostate gland, or are elderly, pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or tends to recur, if sore throat pain persists for more than 2 days, or if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. Store between 15 °C and 30 °C. SECURITY FEATURE: Seal over bottle opening.

Adults and Children 12 years and older:
Shake well before using. 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6 hours. Maximum 8 tsp. (40 mL)/day.
