WARNINGS : FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. If hypersensitivity, rash, redness, itching, burning discomfort or headache occurs, discontinue use. If you experience pain, swelling or blistering, stop use and get medical help right away. The application of external heat, such as an electric heating pad, may result in excessive skin irritation or skin burn. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not bandage. Discontinue use at least 1 hour before a bath or shower. Do not use immediately after a bath or shower. If overdose or accidental ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient of this product. As with any drug seek the advice of a health care practitioner before using this product. Keep away from children to avoid accidental poisoning. Package is not child resistant.
Salonpas-HOT™ CAPSICUM Patch creates a warming sensation to the applied area.
Directions : Adults and children 12 years of age and older : Apply 1 patch to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Do not apply patch for more than 8 hours. If conditions worsen or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. May take 1-2 weeks to produce beneficial effects. For use beyond 6 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.
