The BIOS Forehead Thermometer provides fast and accurate readings in 1 second.
Can also take temperatures of other objects such as baby bottles and bath water.

Using a Forehead Thermometer
Measurements are taken 1-3 cm (¼" - 1") from the forehead. Press the start button, in one second the thermometer will beep and the LED light indicator will flash green if the temperature is <37.5°C (99.5°F). If a fever is detected the thermometer beeps 10x and the LED light indicator will flash red. The device will store up to 20 measurements.

This technology assesses body temperature in one second without having to touch the skin. It is a very simple "point and measure" device. It can be used anywhere on the forehead. The temple region for some individuals due to the blood flow near the temple will give a more optimal reading.

Fever glow technology
With normal readings the LED is green (<37.5°C/99.5°F)
A red LED indicates a fever (≥37.5°C/99.5°F)

It is not recommended to use non-contact infrared thermometers on children under 2 years of age.
