Source ingredients: glucose, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride. Non-medicinal ingredients: purified stevia leaf extract, natural orange flavour, natural betacarotene
Hydralyte is free from sodium saccharine, gluten, lactose
WARNING AND CAUTIONS : Consult your physician if: vomiting, diarrhea or fever persists for longer than 24 hours; the child is under two years; you have medical problems relating to kidney, heart or gastrointestinal function, blood pressure, or show signs of severe dehydration including shock, or are unable to drink.
Recommended dosage
Vomiting and diarrhea
Age: under 12 months, take within the first 6 hours: 400-600 ml, maximum per day: 1300 ml
Age: 1-3 years, take within the first 6 hours: 700-1000 ml, maximum per day: 1900 ml
Age: 3-6 years, take within the first 6 hours: 1000-1400 ml, maximum per day: 2600 ml
Age: 6-12 years, take within the first 6 hours: 1800-2400 ml, maximum per day: 3900 ml
Age: 12-adult, take within the first 6 hours: 3000-3600 ml, maximum per day: 6600 ml
Dehydration due to other causes
Age: 10-13 years, take within the first 6 hours: take 1-4 sachets per day.
Age: 13-adult, take within the first 6 hours: take 1-7 sachets per day.
Directions for use:
1. Empty the contents of one sachet into 200 ml of fresh, cold drinking water (for babies under 6 months, use cool boiled water). Stir the mixture until Hydralyte has dissolved.
2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
3. Discard unused solution after 6 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
Only mix with water. Continue with breast or formula feeding of infants between sips of Hydralyte.
Store below 30 °C.
